Christopher
Harwood
Christopher qualified in 1978 and started the practice
in 1982.
For over 20 years Chris has acted for both UK and overseas
clients in connection with commercial property matters
including acquisitions, disposals and leases.
He has considerable experience of all aspects of the property
market and acts for a number of managing agents and property
development companies.
Gareth Allen
Gareth has worked in the credit industry for many years
starting with a large Debt Recovery Agency in Leeds whose
client base included many high street banks and leading
lenders.
He has been with CW Harwood & Co since the 1980s and
has been the Head of the Debt Recovery department since
1990. He oversees the collection of debt and is part of
the litigation team dealing with more complex contested
cases.
Gareth also delivers lectures and presents seminars to
a wide range of commercial clients on legal aspects of
credit control and litigation.
Gareth is a member of the Institute of Credit Management.

Robert
Addlestone
Head of the Litigation team and a Partner in the firm,
Robert specialises in Civil Litigation and Dispute Resolution
with extensive experience in conducting Commercial Litigation
cases and has ultimate responsibility for the Debt Collection
Section.
Robert has lectured to businessmen for many years on court
procedures and Credit Control and is a regular broadcaster
on local radio on legal matters.
Author of the Legal Action for Debt Recovery section of
"The Institute of Credit Management Handbook"
and of the legal section of "Effective Credit Control
and Debt Recovery" published by Tolley.
Robert was formerly a member of the Committee of Leeds Law Society
and for several years it's Public Relations Officer.
He sits as a Deputy District Judge on the North East Circuit.
